Aggreko, the global leader in temporary power and temperature control, announced today that it has acquired NZ Generator, a leading provider of power solutions in New Zealand and the Pacific Islands.    “Aggreko prides itself on operating from strategic locations for rapid deployment to our customers,” said Asterios Satrazemis, Managing Director, Aggreko Australia-Pacific, “the addition of several service depot locations through this acquisition will make provision of rental power and temperature control even more convenient for customers” he said. Head-quartered in Auckland, Victor and Philip Lendich began NZ Generator operations 20 years ago and have built an impressive customer base within the domestic and Pacific rental power market. The acquisition will add substantially to the fleet of generators available to both Aggreko and NZ Generator customers from five locations around New Zealand (Auckland, Wellington, Christchurch, New Plymouth and Tauranga) and also the Pacific Islands. The existing Aggreko Auckland branch will be replaced by NZ Generator’s head office in Auckland and all new depots will operate under the Aggreko name and branding.
